Bourbon Boudoir Babe

After going through a lot the past two years, and to celebrate turning 30, Clare decided she needed to do a boudoir session. She wanted to mark the worst time of her life by having the confidence to do something that is scary, and to find acceptance with where she is in life. To discover that it’s okay to not be okay, and to feel a sense of being reborn. She says that all the awful things have happened so that she can spend her 30s discovering who the hell she is, and I love that! Sometimes we lose ourselves in life, in trauma, in sadness and it’s easy to succumb to the darkness. It is not easy to put yourself first on a regular basis, but especially not when you feel broken. She knew it was something she just needed to do for her own mental health and healing.

She brought some amazing outfits and her hubby’s passion (after her, of course) - high-end bourbon! Right before her session, they bought an amazing red leather sofa for their bourbon bar, and I KNEW I had to create some amazing art to go with it!

And this is what we created!
