Prepayments can be automatic withdrawals weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc or you can email me when you'd like to make a payment. Hi!! I'm Erica - the girl behind the lens!
I'm a boudoir photographer located in Coraopolis, PA. I am very passionate about self love, body image, healing and inner peace. In 2012, I became tired of seeing body shaming and bullying everywhere in the media, and hated the way society made me feel about myself. I knew there HAD to be other women out there feeling the same way and wanting the same things - sisterhood, self love and confidence. I shortly opened Revolution Boudoir with a mission to help women of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds embrace their womanhood! I want my babes to be able to shamelessly release their sexiness and reconnect with their mind, body and spirit. Boudoir photography shows women that they ARE beautiful, no matter what society has made them believe. It gives women the gift of seeing themselves in a new light with the labels of society stripped away, allowing them to heal and live. I want my babes to look at their photos and see a strong woman who has overcome so much and is absolutely perfect exactly how she is. I want each and every woman to believe that there isn't a single freckle, stretch mark, scar, roll or number that's in the wrong place.
The Revolution Boudoir Experience Step by Step:
BOOKING - You've decided to go for it and have selected your session date, paid the retainer and completed the contract. You can also set up a pre-payment plan for your desired collection. You're all set , let's start planning!
ONE MONTH BEFORE SESSION : Final details are sent to you. This includes the Hair and Makeup appointment time, location, and the questionnaire to fill out. The final payment of your session fee is due 30 days prior to the session, unless paid for in advance.
SESSION : You'll arrive at the studio at your scheduled appointment to be pampered with professional hair and makeup. Hair and makeup takes about 1-1.5 hours. We'll go over all the outfits and props you bring and decide what to begin with and get a game plan! We'll take it nice and slow and work our way through your outfits. Sessions generally take 1.5 hours. Please plan for a 4-5 hour day. If you generally work on the day your session is, you'll need to take the day off. Please make sure child care is secure if applicable.
REVEAL : 2-3 weeks after your session, you'll come back to the studio for your big reveal! All your photos have been carefully selected and thoroughly retouched to remove blemishes, smooth skin and even skin tones and remove any distractions and now you get to see your images in the full glory for the first time! At your ordering appointment we will go through a slideshow of your images and get your favorite products ordered!
TWO - THREE WEEKS AFTER ORDERING APPOINTMENT - Your products have arrived from my lab! After quality checking and packaging up your new beauties, we will meet for delivery. You will now have daily confidence boosts with your new products!
I require 8-10 weeks in between your session and when you need products in hand. If you have a desired delivery date (wedding date, anniversary, birthday, etc) please be sure to plan ahead when booking to ensure enough time. I typically book sessions 6-12 months in advance.

My name is Emily Van Scoy, and I am a licensed freelance licensed hair and makeup artist servicing Pittsburgh, Pa.
My love for the beauty industry started at a very young age which eventually led me to Beauty School in late 2013 in Temecula, California, to then becoming a licensed cosmetologist in 2015.
I began my career working my way through the salon world and loving every bit of it. Towards the end of my salon years I had the opportunity to begin assisting a bridal stylist and instantly fell in love with the wedding and freelance world! I soon began working on weddings every weekend in the Wine Country of Temecula while during the week hustling and working my craft in Los Angeles, CA to continue furthering my career. I have had amazing opportunities assisting Celebrity Makeup Artists, working with National Geographic hosts, MAC Cosmetics Productions, Music Videos, Editorial, Commercial, On Location Weddings, New York Fashion Week, Cosmetic Brands and so much more. There is nothing that makes me happier than helping others feel more beautiful, whether it’s on their big wedding day, on set at 4 am or glaming gorgeous gals for Revolution Boudoir.
When I am not on set or glamming my beautiful clients you can either find me out and about with my lovely family or at home watching true crime while trying to finish my latest puzzle. (I know, I know. I live a very exciting life!)
